turning ideas into beautiful stationery
turning ideas into beautiful stationery
We are a fierce group of women who are in love with details and obsessed with design. We’re brave, we’re bold, and we’re not afraid to stray from the norm.
To the world, we design stationery, but to us, we create a piece of history. Your history.
We know your wedding paper is just as important as every other detail of the big day. It’s the keepsake that your grandkids will pull out of a box one day, evoking a wave of nostalgia and “way back when” stories. It’s your guests’ first taste of the wedding day and a chance to show off your style. It’s the wedding detail that kicks off the entire event. You’ll open your box of wedding stationery, take one peek at the invitation and whisper, “It’s real now.”
Owner + Creative Director
"You know you found the perfect vendor when it comes time to pick up your invitations and you start crying in the store because you are that impressed with their ability to make your dream a reality. Chelsey and her team are truly talented. Not just with the design element, but with working with brides throughout the process. Every meeting, every email, every phone call, every proof, every second proof, every design, every dot above the i and cross in the t is made perfect at Hudson Paperie."
"Our invitations were honestly breathtaking and worth every single penny / email. As someone who works for a graphic design agency my invitation set was a huge deal for me. Our custom charcoal letterpress invites are the stuff dreams are made of for typography nerds like myself."
"We used Hudson Paperie for our wedding invitations and couldn’t be more pleased with them... They were able to work with our budget and make us beautiful invitations that that tied in our personal wit and charm. When I picked up the invitations I was surprised how beautifully packaged and wrapped they were. People told me that stuffing invitations would take forever and be a pain but it honestly wasn’t and I think it’s in part to how Hudson Paperie packed everything. We love our invitations!!"
A born and bred New Yorker turned Hoboken local, Alexa is the newest member of the Hudson Paperie family. Outside of HP, Alexa is a professional musician. When she’s not up front assisting customers, you can find her performing private concerts in the back at the request of the HP staff.
Grace is a southern born, Hoboken resident. She lives uptown with her cat and loving husband. She came to Hudson Paperie a client and stayed because well... she loves paper and people - just like Michael Scott.
Erin came to town from Springfield, Missouri for a two-week visit and loved it so much she never left. Bringing that sweet midwestern hospitality to the team, when she isn't helping customers or chowing down on some Micky D's, she's impersonating the Target Lady from SNL... APPROVED!
Kaitlin is a true Hobokenite and has lived in town with her husband for over four years. Not always an urban-girl, Kaitlin is originally from Hershey, PA, growing up with horses, minor-league ice hockey and chocolate in her heart. Kaitlin’s perfect day would consist of creating some arts and crafts, petting dogs in the dog park, grabbing a pint with her husband, Jeff, at Cork City and cheering on one of her favorite sports teams.
Carly is a dog mommy and coffee craving newlywed who’s rustic wedding wishes were brought to life by Hudson Paperie’s Dream Team. Her obsession with every last detail, passion for meeting sweet people, and love for Hoboken were all enough for her to join the team just a few short weeks after her wedding. Carly is delighted by all shades of green, silk bows, and puppies galore!
Staten Island-born and raised, nothing makes Caitlin happier than neatly labeling and organizing everything in sight. When she's not busy at work proofing invites and managing the assembly line, Caitlin enjoys spending time with family and her boyfriend "Coach", eating wine and cheese, and bringing her New York flair everywhere she goes.
Chelsey opened Hudson Paperie in 2015 with nothing but a dream and a passion for stationery design. Today, with loads of support from her big sister and the 'dream team' of strong women surrounding her, she is able to create stationery for over 300 weddings annually. Chelsey lives in Hoboken with her wife, Alyssa, and puppy-son Deezy. When she's not creating, she's happiest with a glass of wine in hand and good company by her side.
